30-min Somatic Yoga I 30-min Breathwork I 15-min Mindfulness Meditation
Tuesday's 6:00 pm to 7:15 pm
This classes uniquely combines somatic movements and breathwork. It's not just about improving your breathing.
It's about bringing awareness to your thought patterns connected to your breathing. Have you noticed that you hold your breath while focusing on your work in computer or controlling your emotions?. And your body starts adapting to this oxygen and carbon dioxide imbalance and and your organs start showing the results.
Unlearn the current ineffective patterns of breathing that cause maladies in their body, mind and spirit. You will be surprised how these awareness seamlessly pops into your daily life and helps you to let go as you continue to practice each week.

Testimonial:
I never realised how crucial proper breathing is to so many aspects of our lives - mental, emotional, and physical! Thanks so much Raji for your most authentic and caring approach - I have learnt a lot from you, and intend to carry on with these beneficial practices - Sam
15-min Breathwork I 45-min Yin Yoga I 15-min Mindfulness Meditation
Thu 6:00 pm to 7:15 pm
After a day's work and facing constant challenges, Yin in the evening slows you down to turn inward to reduce stress and restore your energy levels. Anyone who is able to lie down on the mat, from beginners to advanced level practitioners can do this.

I will guide you through somatic movements to come into the pose at a level you are comfortable with and hold the pose for time to go inward to tune into the physical, mental and emotional dialogues. You will use bolsters and blocks to support you to reach a level that is comfortable for you.
Testimonial: Oh my Gosh! I cannot express how much appreciation I have for Raji- she is a wonderful instructor that works from her heart! She is very attentive and knows her students and provides a energy of kindness and grace during all her classes-its so much more than I expected! I can honestly say this is the best yoga centre Ive been to. I just love it! Thank you Raji!
15-min Breathwork I 45-min Somatic Yoga I 15-min Mindfulness Meditation
Friday 12:00 pm - 1:15 pm
Somatic yoga movements are key to releasing stuck energy and fostering flow through your body's energy centers. You will notice your blood, air, heat and energy circulation throughout the body improving with each class.

We will do a check-in questionnaire before each class to bring awareness to our emotions connected to our energy centres and practice noticing it that week in our life.

This is gentle movements class, making it accessible to everyone—no prior yoga knowledge required.
Testimonial:

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the philosophy behind Inner Balance classes? (Click here to expand for answers)

My classes prioritize cultivating inner balance, mindfulness, and holistic well-being. Each class is 75 minutes in duration uniting body, mind and soul in a single transformative session. It is a unique blend of 15 minutes of energising and calming breathwork, 45 minutes of yoga movements in stillness, and 15 minutes of blissful mindfulness meditation.
In each class, I explain the eastern philosophies through the lens of modern western science so you understand the why and how to make it your own knowledge to practice in your daily life.
Q: Why do you start with breathwork in your classes? (Click here to expand for answers)

There are over fourteen different types of breathwork in yoga tradition for different aspects of the physical body, mind and soul. I choose the breathwork combination that is appropriate for each class depending on the needs of yogis that day, season and type of yoga class. The 15 mins breathwork alone can give you numerous benefits such as:

Benefits for your body: Enhances lung capacity; Stimulates blood circulation; Provides a natural energy boost by increasing oxygen supply; Aids in removing toxins from the body by expelling carbon dioxide and waste products; Massages the abdominal organs, aiding digestion and relieving digestive issues; Reduces the perception of pain by triggering the body's natural pain-relieving mechanisms; Shown to lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of heart disease by improving cardiovascular function.
Benefits for your mind:
Activates the parasympathetic nervous system, promoting relaxation and reducing stress and anxiety levels. Clears the mind, improves focus, and sharpens cognitive function, leading to increased mental clarity and better decision-making.
Benefits for you soul:
Breath bridges the gap between the mind and body, fostering a deeper connection and self-awareness. In yogic tradition it is considered a way to connect with the life force within, leading to enhanced spiritual awareness and growth.
Q: Why do you finish your classes with somatic mindfulness meditation? (Click here to expand for answers)

Somatic mindfulness deepens your awareness of bodily sensations, helping you connect with your physical and emotional experiences and bringing a harmonious closure to your practice. It fosters a deeper understanding of your body's signals, thoughts, and feelings and builds emotional resilience, enabling you to navigate life's ups and downs more gracefully.
Q: Are all your classes the same? (Click here to expand for answers)

Each of my classes offers a unique experience, blending distinct breathwork, yoga styles (Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, and Somatic Yoga), and mindfulness meditation themes. I teach only one class per day and you can get a glimpse into my weekly schedule in the section outside the FAQ box.
For those accustomed to dynamic practices like hot yoga, Bikram, Iyengar, or Ashtanga, my classes may seem gentler in nature. There's no definitive right or wrong in yoga; your choice reflects your lifestyle preference at this point in life. Which might change as things always shift and change..
My sessions cater to those seeking a mindful way of life, absent of competition or self-judgment. There are no challenges in my classes, nothing to prove to yourself or others. Embrace the journey of inner balance that radiates outward, shaping a harmonious existence.
